Thanks yes that was it. Audio now works. How do I stop the music?

I have french funky techno playing rather loud hehe :)

EDIT: I still get the same error trying to launch a video. Do I need to configure an external player with playmee or something? I don't think zoomplayer works with online sources.

When usage of Winamp is enabled you should see "audio control" in the "left side" menus.

I never got the audio streams to work with the old internal player, so those controls are not implemented yet.

btw: do the audio streams work with the new music player?

EDIT: I've described the video setup in the "MeeMedia Module Documentation.rtf" in the module folder.

I can confirm that Zoomplayer doesn't really work for streaming media, even with correct settings smart play settings seem to be ignored when it's streaming media versus local media.

Yes the one I tried seemed to work with the internal music player. I couldn't get to the now playing screen though.

I installed winamp now and its working. Do you have any tips on controlling winamp with the remote or hiding it?
EDIT: I just minimized it and moved it off screen, also changed the options to not show in the task bar. Working well so far with no focus issues.

Its pretty incredible to see visualizations again!

Also I'm getting a little stuttering in the audio. Is this a problem with MeediOS running or the shoutcast stream maybe?
EDIT: seems to be the stream, ignore

Using the "Browse" option in HULU and then selecting through the categories results in this error message. The rest of the HULU plugin seems to be working fine.

Trying to open the Itunes Trailers results in several errors and a red NowPlaying screen. The third error flashes by and mentions the NowPlaying screen.
EDIT: Itunes Trailer error fixed as per blubberhoofd's instructions two posts down. Thanks!

Thanks for testing, I'll work on implementing the link to now-playing.

check the link in my signature to see what I use to control Winamp, it's an "in-between" project that I intend to implement into MeediOS at some point.

Is this when using the internal music player or Winamp?

I can confirm that the "Browse" section is broken for the moment due to changes on the Hulu site, I'll try to update soon.

The update process seems to have failed and the old version is incompatable with the new module.

The reason of the update failure is that "Itunes Trailers" is now "iTunes Trailers" and also "Itunes Radio" is now "iTunes Radio".

solution: delete and re-install
For now you can manually delete the current installation by editing the "plugins.dat" file in notepad. (MeediOS\data\MeeMedia\plugins.dat) remove
<plugin=Itunes trailers>.*</plugin>

btw the next release will feature proper plug-in management options ;)

I also wanted to say that the navigation is excellent for this module.

It really is a pleasure to use, very smooth.

Can't wait to see what possibilities this plugin brings to MeediOS.

current roadmap
//general project to-do:
//add screenshots and demo video to website design
//upload website to sourceforge
//complete shoutcast api partnership
//current version 0.4.1 pre-Alpha

//planned for 0.4.3 public Alpha:
//add delete and edit plug-in settings options in manage plug-ins menu
//implement link to now-playing
//fix broken plug-ins and bugs

//planned for 0.5 public Beta:
//implement using the "stand-alone" version of the webbrowser general plug-in
//investigate implementing proxy handeling for browser and storing or even playback using caching
//investigate implementing storing and caching of mms:// and rtmp:// streams or even all streams so that players like Zoomplayer can be used
//implement support for non-open source plug-ins (as .dll) as likely required by some future content partners
//comunity plugin for popular media, implement enabeling via module settings adds "share button" to advanced option page, use comunity api???
//eliminate winamp dependency, test new audio player, investigate multi-zone implementation

//planned plug-in updates:
//uitzending gemist, meer afleveringen bij zoek op titel, zoeken toevoegen?, radio toevoegen?
//improve hulu by adding favorites or subsciptions, fix "browse" section
//investigate rtl gemist re-direct and drm that prevents mpc playback and storing, overall fix needed due to recent site changes
//investigate itunes trailers re-direct to fix storing

Hello the CSScriptLibrary.dll in assemblies is not the same as plugin

Erreur: Assembly C:\MeediOS\plugins\module\MeeMedia\CSScriptLibrary.dll (2.6.0.0) conflicts with C:\MeediOS\assemblies\CSScriptLibrary.dll (2.4.4.0).
This will cause unexpected results in plugins.
Solve this issue by moving C:\MeediOS\assemblies\CSScriptLibrary.dll to C:\MeediOS\assemblies.

The other plug-in that is using CSScriptLibrary.dll might be SeeSharp, I don't know why why it would be using the older version. I have done some tests with both versions of the library and encountered no confilcts.

I'll try to figure out who else is using it though ;)

Hi blubberhoofd

You Really have to check out http://www.grooveshark.com

A Spotify clone BUT without a "client", Anything for MeeMedia??

Or maybe it should be a separate plugin?
I'll do a Plugin Request also

You would loose some of the "interactivity" when you would implement it in MeeMedia, I think a specialized plugin would be better suited for a source like this.
