Not sure if this has been mentioned before....

If I use GroupOverlay and dont have a back element in the menu, I cant use the back command to get back to the previous menu

Same with GroupHorizontal

yes that's how group module works ... you can use Esc (EXIT) instead

yes that's how group module works ... you can use Esc (EXIT) instead
One could add a back action to the screen without adding it to a menu - this should work as well. However this should be the decision of the theme designer. If a user doesn't like this, he can force Group module to add a back action to the menu by configuring the module accordingly.

One could add a back action to the screen without adding it to a menu - this should work as well. However this should be the decision of the theme designer. If a user doesn't like this, he can force Group module to add a back action to the menu by configuring the module accordingly.

Group module screen already has back action but probem is it's not working unless you enable it in module config

Right. This was a feature request to prevent the action close the module. However you can circumvent this by letting the action send the message "module.close". Another approch might be (no idea if this works) to have the action in the menu, but to make the action invisible.

:!: In order for new Home screen to remember layout you need to make following adjustments
    1) install latest meepopup provider
    2) change root screen name to Home :!:
    3) go to theme settings, change default Home screen layout and save changes
    4) Restart meediOS and use DISPLAY (Ins) button (or top menu) to change layouts and from now on changes will be automatically saved

Casting and Filmography
    Movies / TVShows

thanks working great.

For anyone else, don't forget to go into the theme settings and change the home menu. It wont work until you make it save once on a different style.
